Objectives

The primary objectives of HCPY include:

  • Supporting Fair and Balanced Legislation: HCPY was created to support fair and balanced legislation within Greece that aligns with EU legislation and that of other Mediterranean countries.
  • Addressing Professional Issues: To address issues affecting our members’ professional lives and support changes for the good of Greek yachting as a whole rather than for narrow, individual benefit.
  • Supporting training initiatives for crew as well as introductions to young people wishing to learn more about a profession in the yachting industry.
  • Maintaining Close Collaboration with ECPY: Maintaining close collaboration with ECPY to leverage collective strengths.
  • Promoting Sustainability: We encourage sustainable practices within the yachting industry to ensure its long-term viability.
  • Collaborating with other Associations: To work with other associations to find common ground and address shared challenges.

Membership

We work closely with other Greek associations to investigate common challenges in the yachting industry and how they might best be approached. This initiative enables us all to advocate more effectively and for us to offer greater support to our members.
